Amazon Takes The Battle of Rent/Own To A New Level

I know a lot of people this year are wondering if this is the year they will finally qualify for that perfect house. I don’t know about you, but the older I get the more I think about my children. We have been back and forward about moving back to my ancestry land. Now that we’ve made the decision to move, we have to figure out in what fashion do we wish to move back. I didn’t initially want to move back home, but looking at my landlord made me thankful of my own property.

My landlord owns half of this entire street. That means he’s getting rental money from at least six houses on my side of the street. We will not talk about the houses he owns across town! It’s kind of crazy when you think about it, we are paying 1250 a month for something we will never own. So, in reality we are throwing that money away because it doesn’t come back.

I found out a few months ago that 1250 bucks can actually get you land in some areas, and in other areas 700 bucks. This means you could build you a little container home or a starter home. Amazon sells them from 12000 and up. The one below is around 30,000 I think. You would be able to stay in it until you build your dream home, invest in the markets, or just until you wanted to do something new. If you wanted to keep it, you could live in it forever.

Amazon sells this one.

Nice little living room.

Sleeping area.

Amazon has made it easier for people to own a starter home instead of renting one. Take that rental money and put it on some land, and start living your life.
