How KPOP Idols Are Connected To tHeir Fans

Groups like BTS and Blackpink are two examples of how faithful fans are able to help thrust their idols into worldwide icons. These groups are mega talented with the ability to move mountains and it all starts with the fans. The fans are so important to these artist that they pretty much tailor their careers around the fans and their ability to connect to the artist.

On this take of KPOP Talent we will take a look at The Refund Sisters. The Refund Sisters is a Korean supergroup which is a group made up of people who are currently signed with other K-pop groups. Right now you have SuperM which is a male group with members from EXO, NCT127, and Shinee.

The newest supergroup is a female group featuring solo singers. We have Uhm Jung-hwa who is the eldest of the group at 51 years old. She looks every bit of 25, and her voice!!! It is hard to explain just how perfect she sounds. We also have Lee Hyo-ri, she is 41 and once again looks 20! Once again her voice is priceless. These two artist have been out of the spotlight for a while. Lee Hyo-ri was in the Jessi song I posted some months ago.

Now that we mentioned Jessi, I am delighted to tell you that Jessi is also in the supergroup. Yes!!! She is 31! If you are asking yourself why am I posting ages, it is because we have three decades of KPOP stars in this group, and they all slayyyyy. It just goes to show you that K-pop has always been a force, but now that we have the ability to share the music with more people, it is taking over! I love it!!! Before I forget, I have to tell you about the last member of the group! Ahn Hye-jin or better yet Hwasa, if she sounds farmilar it is because she was a member of Mamamoo.

The sad news about supergroups is that they are not meant to last for longer than a season. They are called seasonal or temp because these people are also signed to their main labels. So, enjoy the new song and check out the cry fest below! I promise you will need tissue.

The Perfect Break Up SOng

K-pop is once again crossing into our living rooms, and the artist to watch is Jessi. I cannot say it enough, if you are a lover of talent, you will appreciate the different dimensions of Jessi. In her newest song she reminds us about the hardships of breaking up and getting your heart to confirm the needed adjustments. I’ve been married for almost 23 years, but I do recall those struggles. Her newest song showcases how multi-talented she is and once again shows that she should be a real contender for artist currently trending in the US. The song is entirely in English, so here it goes!

If the person in the picture beside Jessi looks familiar it is because he is the brains behind the new label P Nation. He is PSY who sang the popular ‘Ghandm Style’ song years ago. If you were like me you were dancing around the living room with the song on repeat!

In many ways K-pop has been with us for almost a decade, but thanks to groups like BTS, it is now becoming more mainstream with today’s generation. However, without people like PSY, we wouldn’t have those awesome groups that we have grown to love. KISSES ALL.

BOBBY Of IKON, Blackpink, and Red Velvet Are On The Move Again!! KPOP is FIRE!!!!!

Music is about living and living is about experiencing music!  KPOP Dose!

So you guys know I’m a KPOP fan, right?? Remember when I told you about NCT 127 and IKON with the awesome rapper BOBBY! Well, NCT 127 is now in the Billboard count thanks to their new song. We have to give thanks to BTS for this explosion. Without their work and talent we would never know about groups like the ones I mentioned above and below.

Bobby in now on the “Rise Remix” for League of Legends and it’s FIREEEEE!!! I told you so!!! I love it when I’m right! Bobby is the KPOP rapper from IKON and it’s like I stated before these groups are on the rise. Not only are the guys doing it big, but the girl groups are making movement too.

We have Blackpink with Dua Lipa singing Kiss me and Make up

And we also have John Legend and Wendy of Red Velvet.

So, yes the predictions are coming true. Let me look into my crystal ball!! I predict more movement up the charts and a culture that not even Nostradamus could have seen. Music will always be the cure and the bridge for people across the world.

I will post some videos below if you aren’t familiar with the groups. These songs are my favorite.

Red Velvet Peek-A-boo -I love twirling to this song. Yeah, I know!! I’m how old again! Peek-A-Boo!!

Blackpink- Boombayah- This song is fire! It kind of has a Spanish sound to it, yeah I love it.

This last song is the song that introduced me to Bobby!- It really showcases his awesome ability to rap.

This song highlights his singing which is the reason KPOP music seems to be a feast for all right now. These rappers not only rap, but they sing. They are good at singing!

There would be no KPOP without the one and truly Bigbang. Currently four out of the five members are in the military due to Korean laws which make it pretty much mandatory for young men to enlist. That means BTS, IKON, NCT 127 might have members who will have to take time away at some point to join up and answer the call.

NCT 127 The Game Changes Once Again

Can we all agree that music is everlasting and universal? With that said, KPOP is coming into a new phase as it gains new listeners. NCT 127 has just released their first English version called Regular and their Korean version will be coming soon. As a fan, wait let me look around!! Regular hits the point on many levels. With the English version, the group is posed to rack in new listeners and that’s a win for KPOP.

Now some of the hardcore BTS fans like my daughter are debating the fact that hearing English versions of KPOP songs takes away the KPOP feel. She mentioned that the whole idea of KPOP is that the songs have to be done in Korean, but if music stays true to music, there’s always room for enhancements. As I see it, not only does releasing a song in English show versatility, but it also gives room to add more listeners.

Don’t forget this group will also be collaborating with DJKhaled. I’m going to play like my Tweet brought them together!!! At least I called it, and it is happening! The Tweet!!

So, Ummm did you see NTC 127 about wanting to do something with you. Read about it here. I bet you would sound great together.

We now have BTS and NCT 127 performing on large American platforms. Just last night NCT 127 performed on Jimmy Kimmel.

So, I saw this coming!! Okay it might have been because they said something about it!! I have an eye for these things. My next KPOP predictions will show a rise in KPOP groups bringing more English songs to the surface. So, sit back and listen to NCT 127 and their newest song!!
