Full Circle!

Six months ago after I quit my job as an investigator, I really struggled with how I could make a difference. I knew I wanted to still inspire and look out for those who needed my help the most.

After really doing some soul searching I decided to write a novella about repairing broken dreams. I realize that this might not be an option for many, but for those of you who find yourself in chaos, don’t give up. Please take the time to read my new novella! I hope you like it and thank you for being part of my life.

Netflix’s “How It Ends” Makes Me Second Guess My Bad Book Review.

So, watching How it Ends reminded me of a review I once received. I was very new to writing and thought that self publishing would be a breeze. One of my first books was The Last Love Story which I received a couple of negative reviews about and it kind of scared me away from writing for a while. I’m laughing a little right now, because at least my book explained why and how everything took place. When it comes to books dealing with the end of the world as we know it scenarios, I always find it interesting how many of us writers think so similar. My book was written before Revolution came out, so you could imagine the what what moment after I saw the first episode of Revolution! Anyway, back to the review! There are so many questions about How It Ends. What happened to Ricki, what caused the storm, and why was Kat with the creepy dude? I think the chaos level was right on point. We have seen chaos bring out the worse in people. I just feel like there’s no closure that comes at the end of this movie. I wanted to like it because it has three people whom I love to watch on the big screen, but there’s no conclusion.  I’m sorry Netflix, but this wasn’t the best movie. I have a favor on behalf of someone very special to me! She is requesting that you make a Blue Exorcist real life film because she’s in love with the anime. Thanks, and feel free to check out The Last Love Story.

We Must Save America From America

Pay very close attention to the next few weeks. If the Republicans push Kavanaugh through without a true investigation, it will send a very straight and pointed message regarding women. Now is the time to vote more than ever because the future of our daughters depend on it. Are we looking at something like the beginning of a Muammar Gaddafi leader in the making when it comes to Trump? He might not have the military background that Gaddafi had, but I see problematic written across this canvas. There’s a reason why he wants to push Kavanaugh through so badly. We can’t look back a year from now and say we saw the wall tumbling down when we have the power right now to fortify it, by voting his protectors out.
I see him taking us down a path of destruction because he seems to be too compromised and is willing to get in bed with dirty people, a little too often. We hang around those we have something in common with. What does he have in common with the criminals that he’s had relationships with? If the Republicans can’t stand up, the Independents must stand up because we are the ones who make the difference in the elections. Stand up now.

Trying to Keep My Mind Off My Daughter

I know we have to let children grow up, but it’s hard. I haven’t heard from her in three days and she hasn’t been online in three days which is odd because she is a gamer. I’m sure it’s just me being over the top, but I am worried. She’s 20 and I couldn’t talk her out of this trip. I tried to talk her out at every turn, but she wanted to go so bad. To make matters worse she didn’t leave me any address or name of the guy’s mother. I should have asked for more information. Now, I’m going to be on pins and needles until I hear something. Her boyfriend told her I was a control freak, but I don’t think I’m that at all, I’m just a parent.
