Fellow Americans, Before You Go

Image

Today many of you are supposed to be completing a mission. I would challenge you to focus on the most important mission. We were put on this earth to help bring light to the world.

Some of you are confused right now and some are seeking for answers, but remember that God works in mysterious ways. What you needed last year might be something you no longer need today. Elections are hard , and this one has proven to be one of the hardest in recent memory.

However, this election shouldn’t challenge your heart, risk your safety, or endanger others. It is okay to be upset, but remember we are commanded to not let the sun go down while we are in that state of mind. Ephesians 4: 26 ‘”Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:”

Instead of getting mad you should pray about it. Anger has the power to do one or two things, it can change for the better or destroy. Ask yourself , does this anger destroy?

If your anger destroys, God isn’t in it. God’s greatest commandment is surrounded around love.

29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a]30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[b](C)31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[c](D) There is no commandment greater than these.”

That means we must love and then love some more. When we feel weak and hurt, once again dig deep and love harder. It means we love no matter the political party, race, religion or sexual orientation.

Lastly, we Christians know that there is a season for all things.

Matthew 7 : 21-23 Not everyone who (B)says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will (C)enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who (D)does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 (E)On that day (F)many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not (G)prophesy in your name, and cast out demons (H)in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 (I)And then will I declare to them, ‘I (J)never knew you; (K)depart from me, (L)you workers of lawlessness.’

Don’t let this be the last time the world sees your shining face. Trust in God and remember God does everything for a reason.

How Does America Move Away From The Aftermath Of Trumpism?

Image

Aftermath is a word used to describe catastrophic events in most cases, and that definition rings true today. We have two major obstacles that have changed the way we move and think as a country. The election of President Trump has turned out to be a very jarring event for the American psyche.

There’s no denying the current disconnect in America today due to constant rhetoric. It was ongoing into the minds of the American public by way of social media and continuous rallies. Perhaps, that is why you now have companies like Facebook and Twitter who have started paying closer attention to how people spread lies to the public via their platform.

From political issues to health issues, there has been an overabundance of dishonesty, which has created the perfect storm for chaos. One would wager that COVID-19 wouldn’t be the beast it is today if America didn’t fall victim to dishonest politicians trying to use COVID-19 as their political vehicle.

It has been a hard situation to sit back and watch. Unlike some bloggers, I started talking about COVID-19 in January when it was mainly in China. One of my fears was not knowing how to deal with COVID. I even went on to say that we needed to stay away from some of the mistakes that China was making. We have done far worse, which is sad because we should have known better. That failure lands on the President and his inability to deal with the virus by telling the truth. President Trump has been caught in numerous lies from COVID, Ukraine, and now the election. Yet, his people seem undying in their faith in him. I think his rallies are meant to get into the psyche of people and that has proven to be dangerous.

So, the question is, how do we reach people who have been propagandized? What should we be saying to them right now, and what should we not say? We must not give up on trying to reach them because they are fellow Americans. Yet, at the same time, we have to be careful because some followers have become very unstable.

I guess we start by trying to understand their point of view, and then we explain why certain things happened. There is anger aimed at the Supreme Court, FBI, and other departments for not stepping in to stop the steal.

So, today, I will give you a lesson in writing affidavits. First of all, I will not tell you my definition because I know some of you might not want to hear it. I will give you an article.

Affidavit Definition - Legal Meaning ? Lawyer Terms Simplified

So, whatever I put on this needs to be, the truth. This has to be filed prior to court and if something is not right the person standing there who has submitted it can get in trouble. I filled affidavits out on the cases I investigated, lawyers have to be even more careful. If they lie to the judge they could lose their right to practice law. This is why there was such a difference between the information that was getting washed out into the public and the information that was going to the courts. I do not know too many people willing to stand before judges and lie.

If any part of the election steal hoax was true at least one element of government would have picked up on it. We are talking about people who were handpicked by Trump to do his will, so to say. You cannot honestly believe they would turn on him at the last second, unless there was a reason. As for states letting people vote in a more relaxed fashion, put it in the COVID-19 bag. Had COVID-19 been handled appropriately, people would have been able to vote normally. As people have stated, you will have some levels of fraud, but this year showcased less fraud then the last election.

Hope that helps.

The Government Must Protect Families From BECOMING Homeless.

For some of us, this Christmas will bring a flood of emotions. Many Americans will be shopping for gifts this year. Yet, there is another group, that will be biting their fingernails. They will be hoping for a present from Santa Claus, called a lifeline.

Many months ago, I warned about the ramifications of not doing enough to take care of Covid-19. Many people were on pins and needles to get the country back open and moving. The virus wasn’t contained properly, so the movement created a unprotected path for the virus to grow.

Now here we are at the end of 2020 with an uncontrolled spread. Here in my county, we’re at level one which means the virus is uncontrollable. It’s the worst possible outcome for our city. Late last night before I went to sleep I read an article about Ken Paxton. Apparently he wants to withhold covid funds from Houston or better yet Harris county. I don’t think people understand the amount of evil that goes into the idea that welcomes the destruction of a group, based on their political standing.

This virus has brought out the worst in people. It is showcased how little people cared about protecting life, responsibilities, and their ability to think for themselves. The sad part, is that covid-19 might have been controllable had it not been so politicized. It’s almost as if people took advantage of the pandemic to advance their own standing in communities.

Now we head into the new year, many families will become homeless very soon. If Congress doesn’t do something, these families and their landlords will soon face ruin. What causes homelessness? A sickness, a death, or an inability to provide for oneself causes homelessness. In this situation the sickness was covid-19, the virus was so devastating that it took a toll on millions of Americans.

Most of the time, when we talk about covid-19, we only hear about the deaths that occur. While the deaths are perhaps the most horrid outcome, a lot of us do not think about the economic devastation. Yet, perhaps the saddest part of all of this, is that people could slow the spread.

Take Ubereats for example, one of my relatives uses Ubereats as a side hustle. He stated that Ubereats has a really good system that makes sure drivers are safe, but you still find occasional customers who want food delivered to them, face to face. Even though the company is trying to protect its drivers, you still have people who don’t understand the importance of proper social distancing. For the most part, Ubereats expects the deliveries to remain contactless, which means the delivery driver is supposed to deliver the food to the door and alert the customer.

Due to the fact, that some customers still want to act like Covid-19 isn’t a thing, many drivers have decided to stop delivering. This means restaurants will cut back on orders, which means less money, and having fewer staff members in their establishments. The lack of social distancing and mask wearing creates problems for the whole community.

Because of the government’s inability to press on the importance of social distancing and mask wearing, we are now looking at a spiraling downfall. The fact is, these companies have to lay off and close due to poor habits. Their workers have no other options of earning income. In the end, it leads to homelessness caused by the government’s response to Covid-19.

It’s bad enough when you mess up and put your family at risk, but it’s like 10 times worse when it’s not your fault. Some of these states have thrown their citizens to the gutter. Some of these same leaders will sit here and brag about not wearing masks, and then pop in line to receive the vaccine before anyone else.

I know this is a long rant, and I’m sorry for that. But as I gaze out my window thinking about the difficulties of removing myself from my blankets due to my depression, I can’t help but wonder how my fellow Americans are feeling right now. I guess I am blessed because my junk is all in my head. I love you all we will get through this together.

Did Trump And The Republicans Count On Voter Suppression As a Way To Win 2020?

There are so many questions tied to this election. Perhaps one of the most perplexing questions is why COVID-19 was allowed to spread without containment by the top people in US government? As I write this article our states are seeing alarming rates of COVID-19 pop up from state to state. What I find repulsive is how some leaders are saying it was too easy for people to vote during a pandemic.

So, just what did they want the states to do? Did they want Trump’s voters being the only voters, voting during the pandemic? Did they really think the rest of the country was going to stay silent about how they felt about Trump and his handling of the country? What about the voters who wanted to vote, but they wished to remain safe while doing so? Here in Texas, Republicans tried to take away early voting days. The results would have resulted in fewer people being able to vote. Mail-in ballots weren’t on the table for all Texans, and some of these voters feared for their safety due to the spread of COVID.

Trump declared himself the winner on the 3rd of last month as if he knew something the rest of America didn’t know. He had already slowed the postal service; a few states had embedded complications in place to hinder mail-in ballots. Texas made sure we had one dropbox per county, and some of our counties have hundreds of thousands of people, if not more.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/10-states-still-counting-millions-votes-trump-falsely-claims-he-n1246336

So, while some Republicans were doing a fantastic job to suppress voters in their red states, blue states were trying to make sure ALL of their voters would be able to vote. Pennsylvania, which is one of the four states targeted by Paxton, agreed to let their citizens vote by mail due to the pandemic. This move would allow the state to collect ballots from any eligible voter. However, there was a hiccup that prevented the ballots from being counted until the night of the election.

With most of the mail-in ballots being for Biden, the result turned out to be in Biden’s favor. Now, we are seeing Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and GA being contested by some states that pretty much did what they could to suppress the votes of those who feared for their lives. Georgia election officials informed the public that Trump lost GA because he scared people out of voting with his lies. https://www.businessinsider.com/georgia-top-election-official-says-trump-depressed-his-own-base-2020-11

Georgia wasn’t the only red state that suppressed votes during this election, but it was perhaps one of the only ones that got caught up in the quagmire of tampering with elections. Did Trump and his base willingly spread COVID-19 so they could make sure Biden’s voters would stay at home and away from the polls? Who knows!

However, what we do know is the following, the Republicans are doing what they have been doing for years. This time they are doing it on a larger scale. They are trying to silence millions of votes. They are risking the sheading of our constitution due to their allegiance to Trump.

It is kind of surprising to see a group that hates to see people taking a knee to The Pledge of Allegiance, rip the Pledge of Allegiance into shreds over their allegiance to Trump. We have lost our way.
