Helping America Get Back To Normal Means Shifting Focus! Let’s Go!

Today will mark the beginning of a new Presidency. It will be coming off the heels of one of our darkest moments, yet it will bring hope. If I had one word to describe the new feeling in the air, it would be rejuvenation. It means that we have all lived to see the end of one presidency maimed with flaws and the injection of hope.

So, in honoring what this means to us as a country, I have decided to shift the focus of my blog. While I will still be updating you on things going on in my little spot of the world, I will also be taking on other tasks. My blog now has three new sections that deal with gaming, K-Dramas, and KPOP. If you take notice right now, they have one article under each tab.

“Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” – Confucius

I always tell my children life is like a big box. Sometimes, we have to dig and dig until we make the first groove in gaining our balance. However, after we find out how to make the groove and what direction it can take us, the sky is the limit. It isn’t about thinking outside the box, it is about clawing your way to a new understanding.

Streaming Services For K-Dramas

There are currently a few sites that have K-dramas, but I would love to point your attention to It is a site that requires a small subscription of $4.99 per month. You get to see K-dramas that you wouldn’t normally get to see on Netflix or Hulu. You are also able to see new K-dramas as they come out on

True Beauty

If you aren’t sure of sites like because they are not as notable as Netflix or Hulu, you can rest assured that their site is safe. The headquarters for is in California with other locations around the globe.

We are currently viewing True Beauty. True Beauty is about a female that has two identities. She is pretty and a plain Jane at any given time. Her story is about a young girl that has to come to terms with finding comfort in a guy that likes her for who she is. It is about dealing with the insecurities that young women often face and the fear of being normal without the make-up. True Beauty was a comic that started off on Webtoon. We are currently watching the first season, so if you are into K-dramas, tune in.

Now, here comes the skinny. Currently, the only subscription we are having an issue with is Apple. Apple needs to figure out a way to bundle its services with other networks. I love the way Hulu has managed to provide it’s bundling, but Apple needs a little more work.

My only problem with Hulu is that some of their bundles rival the cost of cable. Part of the reason people turned to online streaming was to get away from the high cost of cable. We have Hulu and HBOMAX, which is around 22 dollars. Yet, the live cost for Hulu will set you back 64.99 for Basic plus Live. If your family is anything like our family, that adds up fast. We are paying for like three versions of Apple, Viki, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, and Disney.

Yet, with all of that said our children seem to like the most. Go figure!

Fellow Americans, Before You Go

Today many of you are supposed to be completing a mission. I would challenge you to focus on the most important mission. We were put on this earth to help bring light to the world.

Some of you are confused right now and some are seeking for answers, but remember that God works in mysterious ways. What you needed last year might be something you no longer need today. Elections are hard , and this one has proven to be one of the hardest in recent memory.

However, this election shouldn’t challenge your heart, risk your safety, or endanger others. It is okay to be upset, but remember we are commanded to not let the sun go down while we are in that state of mind. Ephesians 4: 26 ‘”Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:”

Instead of getting mad you should pray about it. Anger has the power to do one or two things, it can change for the better or destroy. Ask yourself , does this anger destroy?

If your anger destroys, God isn’t in it. God’s greatest commandment is surrounded around love.

29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a]30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[b](C)31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[c](D) There is no commandment greater than these.”

That means we must love and then love some more. When we feel weak and hurt, once again dig deep and love harder. It means we love no matter the political party, race, religion or sexual orientation.

Lastly, we Christians know that there is a season for all things.

Matthew 7 : 21-23 Not everyone who (B)says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will (C)enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who (D)does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 (E)On that day (F)many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not (G)prophesy in your name, and cast out demons (H)in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 (I)And then will I declare to them, ‘I (J)never knew you; (K)depart from me, (L)you workers of lawlessness.’

Don’t let this be the last time the world sees your shining face. Trust in God and remember God does everything for a reason.
