There are times when life happens and it makes you question who you are. About two years ago something happened that pretty much made me see life in a different light. We are able to help each other in so many ways, and I learned that help didn’t always have to come with a title. I could do just as much without a badge as I could with a badge. I’ve worn plenty hats! I’ve been the legal advocate, mental health worker, and the investigator, but the most important hat of all was the hat of being a mother.
